Crispin School

Year 6 Transition Day

On Wednesday, 03 July Crispin welcomed a fantastic number of Year 6 students for a transition to secondary education day. Students arrived and lined up brilliantly with their new tutor groups before a welcome assembly. During the morning students were able to meet with the their new tutors and other students within their new tutor groups through a variety of team building exercises and get to know you tasks.

The Year 6 students, accompanied by some of our amazing Year 8 students, experienced a selection of classes during the day including; Maths, English, Science, History, French, Art and PE. The interactions, participation and willingness to join in with tasks from all students was excellent in all classes.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the Year 6 students for taking part in Crispin’s Transition Day, to our Year 8 helpers who proudly represented the school and supported the visiting students, and to our partner primary schools for allowing these young people the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Crispin student.

We look forward to welcoming this new cohort of students into our Crispin community in September and wish them all luck in their next big step in their educational journey.
