Enrichment
Here at Crispin, we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities for students to participate in aimed at supporting students in becoming well rounded individuals that are able to flourish in life as well as to promote a general enjoyment of life.
We offer a termly enrichment programme during lunchtimes and after school, that students are able to sign up to via the link below.
*Please note that the bookings are managed through the Parents' Evening Booking system.
Throughout the year various additional enrichment opportunities are also provided such as theatre visits, Geography curriculum trips, speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, sports days including the very popular Rainbow run and interhouse competitions. This year, after so many years of reduced external visits, every year group will be offered an enrichment day to join as shown below.
- Year 7 – Year 7 Sleepover in September and Theatre visit to watch Elf the Musical in November 2022
- Year 8 – Visit to the Natural History Museum and the V&A in May 2023
- Year 9 – Theatre visit in 2023
- Year 10 – Visit to Shepton Mallet Prison with escape room activities in March 2023
- Year 11 – Visit to Thorpe Park in October 2022

Students in Years 7-9 also take part in drop down mornings throughout the school year. These days aim to not only offer enrichment and the ability to investigate a range of globally important topics but also to develop student’s skills in areas such as resilience, teambuilding, oracy and communication.
Crispin also runs a popular Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme from Year 9 onwards, completing their voluntary sections from November – May before completing their expeditions in May/June.
Every July, the timetable is collapsed to enable a week of enrichment to take place including day trips, visits abroad, sports day and our highly anticipated House championship day. A schedule for the week including cost and the choice of activities are published in December in order for families to plan ahead for the week.
