Key Stage 3
We deliver a range of targeted intervention programmes to Key stage 3 students who require additional guidance and support to 'close the gap' in their Numeracy and Literacy skills.
The Baseline Data gathered at the start of Year 7 and teacher feedback is used during the first part of the Autumn Term to identify students who require extra support with spelling, reading, comprehension skills, or in some cases require intervention in all three areas.
In Maths we work closely with the subject teachers to help support students make progress through tailored Maths Intervention Programmes designed to reinforce Basic Maths Skills.
All Key Stage 3 Interventions begin during Autumn Term 2 and are run throughout the remainder of the School Year.
